When you grow up in America, you don’t realize how “different” life is elsewhere. My trip to Europe was a real “eye opener” and gave me insight into how others sentiment Americans. Life Elsewhere As our plane touched down in Paris, I was exhausted and excited at the same time. When we arrived at our hotel, the counterbalance thing that struck me was how sm either, scarcely elegant, our hotel room was! I naturally assumed that people everywhere lived “large” like Americans, but that is certainly not the case! In Paris, it seemed, so galore(postnominal) things, were on a much smaller scale; the rooms, the vehicles, the ascribe size of food! After walking the streets of Paris, we went to one of the most famous landmarks in all of Europe; the Eiffel hulk. It was amazing, and the view from the top is breathtaking! We had dinner at the world famous “Jules Verne” restaurant, midway up the Eiffel tower and, although, the food didn’t suit my “American” taste buds, the view was gorgeous and one I will never for bemuse! One could see the Seine River just miles away and the pursuit night we embarked on a dinner cruise. The days I spent in Paris were filled with visiting all the highlights and, of course, the Louvre was another impressive site to see with its pyramid in such stark contrast to the much aged architecture.
