Childhood obesity is a major cause of disease and health risks, including death, in the States and we need to work together to solve this epidemic. The causes for childhood obesity are multi-factorial. Overweight children and adolescents are in general caused by a lack of physical activity, unhealthy eating patterns resulting in excess energy intake, or a combination of the two.
Childhood obesity has increased at an alarming rate everyplace the last 20 years. Today, nearly one in cardinal children is battling this condition and if patterns predict the future, almost all of Americas children will be living with diabetes, heart disease, and dying junior due to obesity within the next 20 years.
Additionally, stirs make for the eating habits of their children, the choice of infant feeding methods, the nutritions they make available, the measuring of time children are left unsupervised.
