Financial Inclusion is the saving of banking services at an affordable cost to the vast contributions of the disadvantage and low-income groups. Hence, the target sector for Inclusive Growth comprises of:
? Underprivileged section in Rural and Urban areas like farmers, sm entirely vendors etcetera;
? Agricultural and Industrial laborers;
? People engaged in un-organized sectors;
? trifling;
? Women;
? Children;
? Old people;
? Physically challenged people.

Keeping in harmony with the policy initiatives of the Government, SBI has taken quite a few haughty steps for promoting fiscal inclusion. The most remarkable initiative is scene up of many technologically advanced branches in the semi-urban as well as the remotest rural areas.

? Engagement of rail line Correspondents;
? Introduction of new technology for banking transactions such as biometric cards, kiosk banking and cell phone based messaging systems;
? prop frequent Customer Service meetings on Financial Literacy at Customer Service Points (CSPs);
? Holding awareness programmes/participation in hamlet fairs with various Govt. agencies/SHGs/NGOs;
? Adoption of more villages under village adoption scheme SBI KA APNA GAON;
? Formation of more Farmers Clubs;
? Promotion of No frills accounts;
? Providing credit facilities to poor rural women;
